Fierce and creepy Mr.Hyde.

I liked this one a lot.
Spot on on the split personality thing (righteous, sensible, gentlemanly Dr Jekyll and brutal, perverted, sick Mr. Hyde).

Two things I didn't understand very much: was that liquid he bathed in a mixture of some chemical with blood?
And did they kill each other in the end, were permanently in that altered stated or was that scene just for artistic effect?

Cool film!
I love Kier and wish he could have played the "monster" part as well, with heavy make up. He could pull it off with great style.

That's what I thought - a chemical/blood bath to make the changes permanent.

They were permanently in that altered state. If you remember...

...the final bath was carried out with the very last of the Solicor (the transformative drug), and Fanny was aware upfront in that this was the case. In other words, there was no going back - and once she underwent the transformation, Jekyll had no choice but to follow her. But they seemed happy enough together at the end.

That clarifies a lot. Thank you!
