I Remember Seeing This At The Theatre

and the one scene that always sticks out in my mind is when Stella Summers goes on stage to accept a music award and arrogantly says, "I have no one to thank, but myself." That should've ended her 'successful singing career' right there. Not a bad movie.

Yeah, I remember that scene,too---even as a kid, I though that was an out cold and selfish as heck thing to say (which it was!)
