I've read so many thrilling science fiction paperback movies over the years and wonder why those books can't get into screen theater adaptation. Yet these hokey turkey horror flicks find Hollywood financing every day.
shareI doubt the person who wrote this is going to see it, but I thought I'd chime in anyway.
Demonoid isn't Oscar fare, but it's far from a turkey. It's about as good as it gets for a film of this genre, era, and budget. Any other sci-fi paperback film is either going to be budgeted similarly, and not likely very good, or a Dune-like potential blockbuster that gets a mega-budget.
Demonoid is actually a very good film.
