I read the biography on Darby and his friends were saying how shocked they were that Darby was gay... after watching this film I have to say, come on? How stupid would you have to be not to know Darby was gay? Did you hear his voice or look at the way he acts? Were Richard Simmons friends shocked at his revelation, too?
sharei dont know, to me he sounded like almost every val/surfer kid i knew back then
darby went out of his way to hide his homosexuality....leaving clubs with girls after every gig, etc
what shouldve alerted them all is when he replaced their drummer with a no talent pretty boy
what shouldve set alarms blaring was when he came back from england looking every bit an ants groupie
