Gillis - overact much?

The scene about 1hr 06m into the movie when he's in his office and exclaims something about "what is going on in this town?" and the final scene when he cries/screams. Awful, awful acting.

"Worthington, we're being attacked by giant bats!"

I thought it was just the right amount of insanity one would expect to display after discovering the wife they've been living and sleeping with is actually a reanimated corpse being controlled by the local mortician along with half the rest of the town. But maybe that's not a big deal to some people?

I always take it lightly when my whole life is a lie and really we are all reanimated beings.

The problem with the Gillises to my way of thinking is that from the outset there is little chemistry happening between them, highlighted by some poor acting on the part of the leads and a weak script. She seems to frequently treat him with disdain, so when we find out they are zombies, it has little emotional impact any way.🐭
