The reacurring question returns...

Yep, I'm asking this same question AGAIN. This time, I'm asking about this movie. Hopefully someone will answer sooner than it took to answer my Basket Case question. Well, here it is...

HOW GORY IS THIS MOVIE?

Well, the question has been asked. NOW ANSWER!!! OR I'LL POP MY SKULL OUT AT YOU!!!

Not all that gory until the last 15 minutes (when the mummy and his flesh-eating zombie slaves attack). These last 15 minutes are a real bloodbath and highly entertaining. The rest of the film isn't so much fun, however. I own it uncut on DVD and it only cost me $6.95 at Best Buy. I don't regret the purchase. The DVD has a great audio commentary by the director, which explains a lot about the problems he had making the film in Egypt.

What happens before the last 15 minuets?

I hate how bad people are saying this movie is. I love it, and when i first saw it when i was younger it was SO gross. Theres lots of gore, and a big explosion, so if thats what you want, this movies got it.

not gory enough

It was actually pretty gory. Much more than I expected.

It was gory towards the end and yet I couldn't see much detail. I was tucking into some black forest gateau at the time and managed to keep it all down.

Is it more gory than the 1932 version?

reply

This one is more like a zombie film than the vintage Mummy.
