Mmmh... only ever so slightly, if anything. Both are murder investigations, but in terms of casting, atmosphere, direction, story and acting, they are rather different. Not to mention, Chinatown is leagues above this one as far as i'm concerned. Lisa Eichhorn is indeed good in this, but she's certainly no Faye Dunaway.

Maybe if you expanded on the similarities according to you...?
