Low Budget Fantasy Gets No Love

Of course when you mention fantasy to people today the first thing they think about is LOTR, which don't get me wrong is great, but this is the definitive sword and sorcery epic and it was an incredibly well made film at that. 6.9? Maybe people are just rating it based on what they thought they've seen years ago, very re-watchable and ultimately classic.

I disagree that LOTR is great. The LOTR films are like babyish cartoons for kindergarteners.

CtB is a 10/10 though.

I agree it deserves more love, but low budget it was not. According to Ah-nold, he was under a lot of pressure because the movie had a lot of money behind it. Looking at the sets, props, everything, I think it shows.
