Yep. She looked great throughout the film. I thought that was a really interesting casting choice for that role. Perhaps not the greatest performance in the more traditional acting aspects, but she simply looked and moved like a warrior. You never doubted for a second that she could have killed Conan and Subotai if she had a mind to. Her physical prowess was a big part of what made the character work.
shareShe was the first CONVINCING woman warrior whom I saw in a movie. She paved the way for true belief and conviction in action actresses. BTW, I’m in total agreement with an earlier post that the “action” actresses in Marvel movies, e.g., Scarlett Johansson, make a mockery of the standard that Sandhal Bergman set in this movie. Gal Gadot, on the other hand, honors Sandhal’s legacy.
