I watched this movie last night and there's something i don't understand.
Cheech and chong get the money back in the nuthouse, they escape through the hole in the wall with the money. But the next scene there doing some kind of strip act because chong lost all the money. Am i still high or is there something wrong here? They got there money back, didn't they??
Y'know, I thought the same thing too because the money was in the bag when they left the sanitarium.

shareI think that either, as some have suggested, the ending was later in time as the beards seem to indicate, OR...the part where they get the money and leave through the wall was actually part of the hallucination, which would be sneaky but would mean they didn't really get their money back...kind of a dream-within-a-dream-within-a-dream thing.
shareI think a better ending woul dhave been, the BOUGHT the strip club with the money then worked at their own club.
