I'm kinda hard pressed to choose a favorite part, the movie only gets better the more you watch it, but I really enjoy the conversations that C&C have with Jimmy and the blind guy. The blind guy talking and them ignoring him is pretty funny, and then Jimmy just saying "No, No buds!" and then he stops and says "Yes, No," and finally "Yes", I dunno, that was pretty damn funny. But overall, I gotta say that Paul Reubens talking to Chong about Bruce Springsteen is awesome, it's pretty random. "So what about this Rock N Roll thing? Bruce Springsteen's f-ing it all up!"

I thought it was so odd/funny when Cheech and Chong ring the doorbell of this HUGE guy who just comes out and doesn't say anything. That guy was so big! He must've been like over 7' and 600 pounds! "Don't get any bigger man!"

Ok... can anyone tell me..... I have been hunting for the C&C movie that shows Cheech sitting up in a tree (thats hanging over the water) smoking a doobie, and suddenly he hears a voice below him saying "Hey, you gonna share that?", he looks down and its a fish talking to him.... he looks at the fish, then at the doobie all confused.... finally he gets down outta the tree and shares the doobie with the fish, all the while looking kinda confused... lol... suddenly it cuts to Tommy Chong up the river bank a little ways looking at Cheech like "WTF?" and it shows you his view, with Cheech holding the doobie down to the water (no fish there)....
I have been trying to find out what one that is from and i have had no luck so far... hopefully somebody can help me!! :)

yeah the "I'm Sorry" bit was amazing. I couldn't stop laughing when he came back and yelled "I'm not sorry for taking the money! BLAH! AHAHAHA!" The other good part was when Cheech had itchy balls in the straitjacket (sliding on the floor like a dog) LOL!

shareYep, the little-known(*then*) star of this movie is Pee-wee Herman. The scene where Timothy Leary comes and gives them acid in the psych ward and Cheech has a vision of Pee-wee doing a crack cocaine public service anouncement is too much. It's amazing that they would be doing a feature on crack back in 1981. It was brand new back then, right?

i'm not sure what my favorite scene is, but that guy playing the police, his name is stacey keach, right? the guy who kind of looks a bit like craig t. nelson? the scenes with with him is funny in these films.
but i like "up in smoke" better than this, but i like this better than "corsican brothers".

I can't believe no one has mentioned the scene when Cheech is riding on top of the glass elevator naked and shouting "Hey, man!!" "Press the button! Press the button down!" He dangles showing his dick to everyone in the elevator. Some woman finds it fascinating. I love how this movies are about nothing at all.

Cheech lifting weights is also very funny. Chong is hilarious. "Come on, man. Push. You're not even trying. Ok, one more."
The whole bit with Animal through the door.
"Hey, open the door."
"Hey? Hey is not here"
Chong banging on the door and Cheech sared sh!tless inside Donna's apartment. "Hey, open the goddamn door! Goddammit!"
Cheech climbing the fence and Chong just opening it up and walking through. Cheech oblivious "Hey, are you gonna help me?" Takes his hand.
yea that was the best scene AT THE CHINESE RESTAURANT, when they were under the table and coming back up the way they made there faces the expression was hilarious LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

I also like the restaurant scene, where the lady introduces Chong as " Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead ! ", followed by Cheech saying, " Hey I'm Santanna man ", to which she replies ( here's my fave and I still say it all the time ! ), " you have a beautiful tan, man ".
I saw this movie before Up in Smoke and Next Movie, and I still think it's great. But my all time fave is Next Movie...nothing beats cousin Red !

Actually my favorite scene is when Sgt. Stadenko gets stoned from Weird Jimmy's great weed, with his weed gun, then the cops come in and he has them "take this to the analyzer and have it labbed"
In the next scene, the Asian scientist points to the rats, then the lizards and says "These Smoke No, These Smoke Yes"
The cop interrupts: "Enough of that technical talk, Foo!"
Cheech hiding in the closet from supposedly Animal and the rack just breaks. That caught me off guard.
The whole section of Chong hiding from Animal as he's searching for him and Cheech naked on the elevator with that song in the background.

I also like to quote the bit when cheech is tripping and chong is saying something like "they cant do that to you, and if they do then DONT WORRY ABOUT IT because they cant do that to you". lol the bit where they chase the girls to house and when the massive guy answers the door they pretend they are giving away free ice cream "its big stick day" lol
One scene that stood out for me was in the asylum. Cheech is bound by a straight jacket and needs his balls itched! Chong comes in and he's all high on drugs he's administered himself, and Cheech misses his opportunity. The real doctor arrives and manically laughs as both stoners trip out.
