The actor Cliff Gorman in this movie portrayed the most realistic Goebbels we've seen in any last days of the Third Reich film. The Goebbels in The Bunker is accurately depicted as being stronger than Hitler which he was since Hitler's health was in severe decline. Other movies make Goebbels too weak.

Magda murdered her children with cyanide. According to eye witness accounts (Hitler's secretary, bodyguard, ...) Joseph Goebbels was against killing them and did not directly partake. However he did not stop his wife either.
