Has anyone bought the 3 DVD box set ?

It's pretty good and the extras are a treat. We get to see how it all started, we see the whole cast as they are today, what they have become and has success be kind with them.
The casting of most of the kids at the time.
Pretty well documented and no one is holding back when one has criticisms to say about something he didn't like.
Very well made.

Does it have English subtitles?
The German (and only version aparently,3DVD), I mean.

reply

No, it doesn't. It has French and German audio as well as Fench and German subtitles.
I have looked everywhere and it doesn'tt look like you can get a DVD with English subtitles which really is a shame.
For those who either understand French or German I would really recommend the 3 DVD Box Set as it's great.

i read through the other posts and you can actually get a english subtitled DVD:

seems a bit dodgy but it looks like it's the only one.... i think they only ship to an US address though.

Has anyone ordered the DVD from the site listed in the post above? It doesn't look like a very good site but its the only one I could find. Does anyone know if it's any good?

reply

I haven't, but if you speak french, order it from fnac.com or .fr
It's worth it really.

Not a great news for you I'm sure, but there exists a Hungarian version of the box set, both audio and subitles are French and Hungarian only.

There is no subtitle for the audiocommentary though, it's a shame as not many Huns speak French.
