I mean, the way they are dressed, the 80's fashion, their haircuts, the music, everything has grown old, but still we enjoy it very much, like a guilty pleasure.
I wonder what makes us still want to watch it.
Fashion can change... but people are the same...

I don't see any reason for the pleasures of enjoying films from other eras to be "guilty" ones! You're right, there is something about these films that is very enjoyable to watch.
Most of the greatest, funniest, most romantic, scariest, most beautiful, most intelligent, etc., etc. movies were made in the past, longer than a few years ago. Soon this will be the past, anyway.
A lot of older movies were far better than most of what is coming out now. There's a quality to it that's different... it's too bad, in my opinion, that most people I talk to have no interest in "old" movies, foreign films, etc. What a shame. To be fair, they do tend to be an acquired taste -- such movies require patience since they used to take more time to set up the plot and characters, and often start "slow", seeming boring to today's viewers.
I wish more people would give them a chance, whether we're talking about 80's, or the brilliant films of the 30's and 40's. There's a lot of great stuff in those 'old' movies that's just too good to miss, IMO. Not to mention, movies of other eras / cultures we're not used to seeing can really open a person's mind and fuel the imagination.

Obviously some of us watch it for nostalgia, and of course this movie is also one that sort of grows up with you - you were the kids, you are her parents, and you hope you will be either the Granny or her lover. :D If kids today watch it too, well then it's just a classic, which I never would have put a bet on back in the day. Maybe kids wanting to have a look what they parents did? Thanks for making us look so hot then! ;)
