2 more questions-

After the murder, when Ned brings Edmund's body to the warehouse - he lifts some sort of heavy object & then lets it come down. We hear a crunch. Is that Edmund's skull cracking ? and if so - why does he do this ?
Question 2. Why is Ned not at all angry w/ Matty right after the meeting - where its obvious that she has altered the will, forged his signature & potentially put him in a very bad position! All he can say is "You look good in black!"
Wouldn't we expect him to be livid - more like "What the *beep* is wrong with you?! I told you that NOTHING out of the ordinary can happen!! We agreed NOT to get GREEDY!! Matty has at the very least (best case scenerio) caused him further embarrassment in front of his colleages & peers, not to mention mark him w/ another flag pertaining to his profession. (worst case scenerio) Well, we all know what that is... His reaction always struck me as odd.

Eh - I guess that makes sense. I just wanted Ned to react more like that little angry guy in your post!! But as you said- he had to keep it together while in public...

Gotcha - It's all about the flesh... I like the scene later (after Ned & Lowenstein are at Stella's) where Ned & Matty are arguing about the glasses/ housekeeper and we finally see him show some real anger... (at least for a few moments) But then Matty again gets him where she wants him.
