I saw this rerun on THIS-tv recently and had the following question concerning Manny and Sally which I've put the spoiler brackets on for the benefit of those who have not seen the film yet:
Sally hits Manny over the head with a bottle and we never see him again in the remainder of the film. Is the viewer supposed to think that she killed him or just knocked him unconscious?
I'm going to guess unconscious. You can't actually knock someone out with one bottle hit like they do in the movies, let alone kill someone.

But I also thought she just knocked him out. For one thing, she wasn't upset enough to have just killed someone.
