horrible extras

I never got to buy Blow Out on DVD. I figured it was a movie that would always be available, so I never got it. The Criterion DVD sucks. I mean, yeah, the movie look good and all, but the features on the extra DVD suck. I would've loved to have seen Quentin Tarantino interview De Palma, since it's his favorite film. Noah Baumbach is a really average director who makes corny, indie movies that have no real style or camera work in them. I mean if you're going to have a director interview De Palma, can you get a guy who actually moves the camera around or has a creative style. And the fact that there's no commentary is just sad. I mean even if De Palma didn't want to do it, having Tarantino and Travolta talk about the movie would've been really cool.
