RIP: Actor Sid Doherty dies at 90

Sidney "Sid" DOHERTY Jr., on Sept. 25,
2016. Born in Larchmont NY, Dec. 30, 1925.

Sid is predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Laura (nee Ramsey) in 1994 and his brother, Dick Doherty in 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Beth Doherty, his sister, Eileen McCaffrey, his brother, Bryan Doherty and his half brothers, Michael and Gene Doherty.
Sid was an avid golfer and long time member of the Overbrook Golf Club. He was also a member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). Sid served in the US Navy during WWII and then Sid was inducted into Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame in 1993. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Monday, Oct. 3, 10 to 10:30 A.M., at St. John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr PA 19010, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment private.
