Watching the film tonight and in the scene where the sheriff is talking with the class, there's a little girl with a white blouse and pink overalls. She's seen right after he finished his sentence about Annie and Duke being murdered. On the left side of the screen, it appears to be a young Shawnee Smith. If true, this would end the rumor of the film being shelved as she was born in 1969 and appears to be about 11 years old, which she would be in 1980
