RIP Stefan Gierasch, who played the coroner 'Dr. Dimitrios' in this

He passed on Saturday September 6th in the same city where "Blood Beach" (1980)
was filmed 34 years ago- Santa Monica, California.

He had some great lines in this, like "...What do you think will happen to each smithereen...?", perhaps the only time in film history that the term "smithereens" has been used in the singular form!
