This has always annoyed & puzzled me about the book is Francesca's BMI

At the beginning, before she began starving herself, her stats were 4 foot 4 inches in height and a mere 98 pounds in weight, making her BMI 16.8 WTF? That's ridiculous. Does anyone else find this both ludicrous and annoying? She was already severely underweight. What was Steven Levenkron thinking? His credibility is suspect, because his book says that Francesca was 64 pounds at her lowest, so at 5 foot 4 inches tall and 64 pounds, her BMI was 11.0. Wouldn't she be dead at that point?
