Slap, slap you silly people. You wouldn't know a good movie if it fell in your laps. Arthur is an excellent movie from beginning to end. Best rom-com in color, ever.

I agree 100%. In fact, I'm willing to call it the best romantic comedy of all time.

I think that score can only be explained by the aging factor......get used to it. It's moved on a bit, but try explaining to some kid that a black and white movie can actually be good. My guess is 20 years from now we'll be doing the same with ones that aren't done in 3D.

You're so right. I didn't get to look at Rotten Tomatoes for long before my browser kicked me off the site, but I saw that Arthur (1981) got a 90% rating there.

What`s wrong with 6,7? It`s not low by any stretch of imagination and rather appropriate considering how conventional and somewhat overly cutesy (despite all efforts to inject some refreshing crassness into proceedings) it ultimately is. A good film, has an undeniable charm, but nothing that special.

This movie is my favorite of all time, along with Moonstruck and Urban Cowboy. I'm 37 so maybe I'm on the older side and like it better than younger people? Giving it a 10.

I gave it a 10. Do you know how many movies I've given a 10 ? I've rated about 150+ movies and I think there's 4 or 5 others that I've given a 10.

This is a flawless movie, plain and simple. Every single aspect of it is perfect. The writing, the performances, and the direction - all perfect.

It's funny but not my favourite rom com by any means. 6.7 is not a bad score, though it seems to be 6.9 now.
