Wow. I mean. Just wow.

Whoever thought when they were making this film, that the noise of the eggs was in any way good or scary?

But they unwittingly stumbled upon one of the funniest things you could ever hope to watch when stoned.

To me it sounds like the egg has a bad case of asthma.

If you go back and watch the trailer for ALIEN (1979), it reminds me of the sound that plays over the trailer. Watching the movie, I honestly think this movie was shot with the producers having only seen the trailer for ALIEN. The emphasis on the eggs, probably spurred by the egg being shown repeatedly in the ALIEN trailer.I imagine it was greenlit with anticipation of ALIEN being a big hit, as most of the imagery in CONTAMINATION seems inspired more by the trailer for ALIEN than by the movie itself.

I didn't think of that until you mentioned it! The high pitched Klaxxon sound in the trailer does sound like a slowed down version!

The eggs mournful cries would make an excellent ringtone! Imagine standing in line at the grocery store and getting a call...

First thing that came to mind was that it sounded like the Brachiosaurus from Jurassic Park.
