The Protectors of The People Episode 2

Major flaw in episode 2.Buford finds black makeup on the "victims" clothing...indicating the attackers were white wearing face black to appear to be black men.However,the car she was driving had windows rolled up and doors locked,so none of the 3 men ever "grabbed her" as was later stated in her hospital bed...so....unless she had one of them kiss her clothing before the actual "attack",there was no way that would have found its way to her at all.
Without this mistake,Buford would have never found out the men were whites impersonating blacks.....
They must have changed the script mid way thru.
