When and where did this show air?

I only found out about this show about 16 years ago when I found a VHS copy of one of the episodes.

I was 13 when this show first aired (per the date on IMDB), but I do not remember ever seeing it. I remember Spider Man and his Amazing Friends, and I remember the 1978 Fantastic Four cartoon (the one with Herbie in place of the Human Torch), and being such a big comic book fan (especially Spider Man) I know I would have been excited to find out about a new Spider Man cartoon.

How did I miss this thing? Did it really air on NBC?? If so, what was the time slot?

I just find it hard to believe that I completely missed this thing...

I remmember watching some episodes on channel 33 (MIami) which mosty plays repeats, it was in the Fall of '88. I am not sure where the new episodes where played?

You missed a Peter Parker who had a bulky physique in normal clothes and a svelte physique in the Spiderman outfit...

You missed a Spiderman who had white ropes shoot out of his web shooters that wrapped around objects.

You missed a Spiderman who didn't swing between buildings but, rather, drove the Spidermobile.

You didn't miss much... :-p

I guess apparently it was a syndicated in 1981 so depending on where you lived then it was on a variety of networks for one season seemed like a good show !!!

IIRC, it was on CBS.
