strange ...but funny

This was a very strange series. At first i couldn't suspend disbelief enough for it to work - but as it went on, Barbara Lott who played mother (brilliantly) became more and more insane - you simply had to watch, sort of like rubber necking the continual accident of Timothy Lumsden life. william Moore was fantastic as 'father' sort of iconic of many dads who manage to somehow survive, by detaching themselves from reality, when living in a totally dysfunctional family. One thing though, timothy managed to initially pull a lot of attractive women, before he or his mother frightened them off. The public must have liked it - it ran for seven series.
