Frank gets married in two separate episodes!?

In one episode, Timothy is to be the Best Man. He meets bridesmaid Elizabeth Large, and he proposes to her
and gets knocked back...

In a later episode, they've finished a game of squash in the leisure center and Frank says he's marrying Jenny
but has asked someone else to be Best Man. The Best Man injures himself and he has to ask Timothy to
do it after all...

Was this a big mistake, or is there some other explanation? I'm just curious. I love Sorry, it's a real Britosh
classic!

I noticed that too. I think it's just two different girls and the series spans over several years

You've got the 2 episodes the wrong way around. The episodes are the final two from the 2nd series of Sorry! in May 1982. "The Next Best Man" from 20 May 1982 is the one that features the game of squash in the leisure centre, when Timothy is upset that Frank asked his friend Richard to be his best man.

The next episode "Do Better" from 27 May 1982. It's set during the night before the big-day and the actual day of the wedding. Timothy is now Best Man & meets and gets on extremely well with bridesmaid Liz Large, who knocks him back when he proposes.

You're right though, Sorry! is a complete classic, it's probably improved with age (if that's possible). Glad it's still loved and enjoyed by others too.
