Theme song, what is they sing at the end???

Forgotten all about this show until switched on this morning and find it's back on repeats down here in Aus. But that theme song, 25 years later and I still cant make out the whole thing.

"Sons and daughters love and laughter, tears and saddness and happiness, we will find out our Sons and Daughters of..."

Then it just becomes something I cannot translate into words.

Side note, how hot was Charlie (I was 16/17 when this started, she'd be my perfect woman now)! :D Wonder what Kim Lewis is up to these days as well, she was a cutie.

Not sure what Kim Lewis is up to these days,she is married to the actor John Howard from All Saints.Kim also had a small part in Home&Away but that quite a few years ago.
Have hardly seen Sarah Kemp[Charley] since Sons&Daughters,she was in a male impotence ad that was on late night tv but that also was quite a few years ago now.

I think TV Week tracked down at least 5 of the main characters from S & D: Oriana Panozzo (Susan No. 2), Belinda Giblin (Patricia No. 2), the actor who played David, Stephen Comey (the Palmer boy) and Sarah Kemp (Charlie).

Ms. Kemp has apparently given up acting and has since been a university professor or something...

Apperently the ch7 tv show Where Are They Now has done a Sons&Daughters episode,unfortunately i missed the taping of it.Not sure when it will be aired on tv.

Not sure when the actual show will be shown again - it was replaced mid-season by some lame-arse reality crap called "The Real Seachange"

Was driving along Glenhaven Road at Glenhaven with a friend and she suddenly said that is the Son's and Daughter's House. It is a big whte place with a fountain in the front garden.
Is she right?

According to the commentary on the Best of Pat the Rat DVDs it was the home of Dr Edelson or someone. I think he used to own the Sydney Swans AFL team. (He just got married to a girl a fraction of his age, silly old coot!)

the show was garbage, the song was a dirge and the house belonged to Dr. Geoffrey Edelsten, who went to gaol for trying to get a patient beaten up by a hit man. Nice fellow.
