If there was a remake

Given how some 80's cartoons like Masters of the Universe, MLP and Thundercats got great re-imaginings/remakes, what do you think one for the Smurfs would be like?

-The animation would be hand-drawn and a nicer-looking version of the original cartoon. No flash or CGI (unless they're doing an advanced animation technique.)

-Keep the voices from the movie which I haven't seen. (Though I did like the Christmas Carol special.) But from what I heard of them, I kind of liked them.

Any other ideas?
