Smurf Inconsistencies and Bad Artists

Here are two inconsistencies/problems I noticed in the Smurfs:

1. In Bewitched, Bothered, and Be-Smurfed, Hogatha loses her powers. But then in The Fake Smurf she has them back, allowing her to change herself into a Smurf.

2. Most of the time, when the Smurfs are caged, the cartoonist doesn't even TRY to make the bars close enough to make sure they can't escape. For example, when Smurfette and Clumsy are captured by that guy with the dog, Smurfette leans out to get flowers to make a path and it's very obvious that her and Clumsy could easily escape.

I am not a troll, but I believe in them since I see them every day on IMDB.
