Unknown if the other smurfs did Smurfette, but such would not be necessary to save the species. Smurfs don't reproduce as such, rather a baby smurf is delivered by stork whenever there's a blue moon.

But then Mama and Papa got a divorce and Papa got all the boys and Mama got all the girls. And when Papa goes off on those little quests for a while he's going to deliver the occasional stuff for Mama Smurf to have another baby.
Whenever it's a boy they send it by stork down to Papa. But keep the girls. Since remember Smurfette and Sassette were magic made smurfs.
