My parents had this episode/special on vhs a long time ago and it was the funniest damn thing. I think it may be called the Martin Short Special. Skits were Jerry Lewis in Tender Fella, Jackie Rogers Jr. gets mauled by a tiger. Theres one funny part where John Candy lays down a series of bitch slaps on some guy. Irving Cohen "give me a C...a bouncy C"..."a doo doo doo a da da da and whatever the hell else you wanna put in there"....OMG im cracking up right now just thinking about it. "Shamus....Shamus....yes you did, yes you did, yes you did."...."I need to be rolled over!!! Well WHO DOESN'T?!". Oh and who can forget Doug Henning. "Anything is possible....in the world of magic....Rope be gone, I will have no more of thee"
Does anyone have info on this? Is it an episode of SCTV or something on its own? Available on DVD? Any info at all would be much appreciated.

"Tender Fella" must've been from SNL and the Doug Henning impersonation. It was Jackie Rogers Sr. getting mauled by a cougar in the "Indecent Exposure" episode of SCTV(Season 5).

-The bitch slapping character John Candy was playing is Cognac and that sketch is a spoof of an old 40's movie called South Sea Sinner, that is an SCTV episode called "South Sea Sinner"(Season 5).

Now you need to be more specific with Irving Cohen cause Short did him not just on SCTV but SNL, Concert for the North Americas(Martin Short live concert), The Show Formerly Known as The Martin Short Show, and Prime Time Glick.

You know all those SCTV sketches are available on DVD. Just ask for "SCTV Volume 4"(Season 5 dvd set).
