Or, if I may be a bit more skeptical, they may have waited until both of the stars of the series were no longer alive. That must have made a difference as to the royalty distribution. I agree that it is great to be able to see the series again, at any rate. I just saw the first three episodes tonight, and hope to see the other disc tomorrow.
shareI think what is more likely is that there are literally so many old TV series that have never been repeated/released on DVD that it's taking them a while to get round to releasing them- giving priority to items they think will be sellable. unfortunately its taken the death of both the stars of this to make it so.
