Something I remember seeing not on the DVD

Maybe five years ago or more I remember turning on the TV and seeing Pee-Wee Herman up on stage and he comes running out throwing candy corn all over the place, including into the audience. Up until now I always assumed what I had watched that day was this old The Pee Wee Herman Show special. But after finally watching the DVD today, he never comes out throwing around the candy corn. So does anybody know what the heck I was watching that day? It sure wasn't Pee-Wee's Playhouse, because he was definitely up on stage in front of an audience. Was there different versions of The Pee Wee Herman Show?

On on of his Letterman appearances in the 80's he went into the audience and tossed Tootsie Rolls to them (that's how he opened the Groundling stage show too, but I don't think it was ever included on the broadcast version).

He may have thrown candy into the audience when he first appeared on one of HBO's "Young Comedians" shows. I saw him on one of those show before he had his special on Home Box.

Repetition is funny. Why ? Because repetition is funny.
