Why does Del Boy always grope Boycie's Wife Marlene?

It's really quite disturbing watching this "comedy" series in the present day.

In pretty much every scene Marlene appears in, Del Boy, in quite sinister fashion, sneaks up behind the poor lady and gropes her in full public view with no one responding to her screams for help!

I can't believe this was ever considered good, clean family entertainment for the millions. What a world we once had!

Suck it up snowflake.

reply

I never interpreted it as a scream for help. Marlene always seemed to be quite enjoying it.

It was often implied that Del and Marlene had been fooling around.

reply

Seems she'd slept with Del Denzil and Trigger in her time. And people like that were normal.not PC wusses!

reply

How would Trigger get it up?

Do me favour, he's still struggling with light switches.

reply

They were apparently engaged at one point. In "The Green Green Grass" Tyler found Marlene's old engagement ring that was implied to be from Delboy and proposed to his girlfriend with it.

Personally I find it quite disturbing that we live in a world where people can't recognise comedic flirting and instead automatically see it as sexual assault.

reply

Go have a long lie down you wet lettuce 🤦🏻‍♂️

reply

Don't talk wet.

reply

You wally!

What a world we once had!

Yup. Anyone else remember when people had a bit of perspective?
