Would be rubbish now as Del boy would look more like Uncle Albert and wouldn't have that youthful enthusiastic charisma and work ethic that made the show appeal to the working class . Leave well alone and lets just enjoy the quality episodes of the 80s especially the 30 minute episodes of the early years which were far more sitcom like than the longer episodes where the wives and girlfriends tended to take up too much of their time so become more like comedy drama.
My favourite episode is "the Russians are coming".
