Great movie in uncertain times.

I was really excited when I purchased my dvd of 'Masada'. The only letdown was it was full screen; I was hoping for widescreen but none the less it was still fantastic. I wonder what elazar would think of obama?! He doesn't seemed as concerned with the Jewish state as he should be. Instead he seems to be turning a blind eye to iran and favoring palastine. I am so worried that if iran moves on israel, obama will stand by and do nothing but file a protest with the UN.

Obama doesn't favour Palestine, which he should. There is no logical or moral reasons to favour Israel - a state created by foreign colonists - over the Palestinians people, whose ancestors have lived there for centuries and who descend from both Arab colonists and local ''Judeans'', whereas the Ashkenazi leadership do not descend from the ancient Hebrews and if they did, their ancestors had left the lands of Judah and Israel thousands of years ago. Do not be blinded by the fact that the Palestinians are mostly Muslims (though some are Jews and Christians) whereas the Israelis are mostly Jews; the faces of the freedom fighters at Masada can be seen more clearly on those of the Palestinians sick of being relegated to nothing in territories occupied by the colonialist power that is called Israel.

And Iran, who have almost nothing to do with Palestinians, would not attack Israel as it would not profit them. The USA would always support Israel no matter what, even if the main cause of Israel is unjust and morally wrong.

1. There were no widescreen televisions in 1981. It's in fullscreen because that's the way it was shot.

2. The Iran deal wasn't just between the US and Iran, it also involved the British, French, Chinese, Russians, and Germans, all of whom have more sense than the mostly-Republican warmongers in Congress, who know damn well this is about as good a deal as we can ever hope to get, and who-- if the Senate managed to get the US to back out, which most likely will not happen-- will not re-institute sanctions.

3. Iran will not build a nuclear weapon. Their government may be crazy, but they're not stupid.
