The Third Eye Series

When I was in elementary shool, back in the early 80's, I absolutely loved watching The Third Eye Series. I loved the Ron Moody show "Into the Labrynth" as well as two other shows from the series. I forgot their titles and have a hazy recollection, but one was about this English boy who I think his father was a scientist and people were mysteriously turning into large stones. The other was about these Austrailian twin brother and sister who find these slimey alien/monsters in a cave. I forgot the other shows that were part of the series. I was wondering if anyone knows more info about The Third Eye series and if there is a VHS or DVD available. I never was able to find out who actually produced the shows since they were all done seperately then combined to make the series. The only person I know who actually remembers the series is my older sister who would watch it with me when she took me on her babysitting job.

All I remember was the guy saying "think of my eyes" every time they wanted to communicate with him.

i think you're thinking of "children of the stones," which was also shown as part of the "third eye" series. and then there was "the haunting of cassie palmer."

Wow, I used to watch "Into the Labyrinth" on GBC (Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation) ... I remember being fascinated by it but I barely recall
what the story was.

I had completely forgotten about "The haunting of Cassandra Palmer" though...
the BBC really did have some great children's television.

I remember all but the haunting of cassie palmer. What was that about? I also remember watching the tomorrow people around the same time.

I used to watch The Third Eye and the Tomorrow People religiously on Nick when. Moved to Calfornia in 81. The third eye contained Into the Labyrinth (only season 1), The Haunting of Cassie Palmer, Under The Mountain and Children of the Stone. Later they added The Witches and the Grennygog but I think that was only shown once or twice in its entirety before The Third Eye was cancelled. I have managed to obtain copies of the original Tomorrow People, Under the Mountain, Children of the Stone and the first two seasons of Into The Labyrinth, I'm still looking for Cassie Palmer. Every once and in a while I break out the DVDs and watch them. Brings back some great memories. Great to know the shows haven't been forgotten. If anyone knows where I can get a copy of Cassie Palmer from PLEASE let me know. I've been looking for a very long time. Might be interested in the Witches and the Grennygog as well but I thought it was the weaker of all the Third Eye shows. I deny you the Nimbus! Lol
