H&I Airings of HSB

The final episode of HSB aired last night (Saturday) on the H&I channel which I was pretty underwhelmed by. The 2nd episode of the night shown was the 4th episode of the 1st season "Can World War III Be an Attitude?". The Uverse guide is showing that "Hill Street Station" will be shown tonight and then later in the week they are going to skip the 4th episode instead of showing it again. I know they couldn't show "Hill Street Station" last night because it's 2 hours, I guess I just find it weird that they decided to air 4th episode as a filler of sorts then will skip it later on as mentioned previously.

Maybe this world is another planet's hell.

I recorded them all on my DVR, I never did watch them when they aired originally as I was only 8 in 1981, I remember my parents watching it though. My complaint is that some of the episodes recorded in order but some just recorded with no information on what season or episode they are so I get to watch X amount of them in order then the rest all mixed up. I don't get why in this day of technology which is so advanced they can't get them all correct. Lol no big deal but just sucks relying on TV when I should just buy them all on DVD so I could see them in the exact order. Great show so far, I'm on season 3. The theme song reminds me of being a kid playing my Atari 2600. Lol

I wanted to start watching this show on H&I, but it seems they skipped the pilot episode. What I watched last night was episode 2, but was listed as episode 1, series 1. Does H&I often get it wrong like this? I don't want to bother with something shown out of order, and I can't find a free showing online of the pilot, which was apparently 2 hours long. Episode 2 didn't make much sense to me with all those scenes of the 2 cops referring to some kind of shoot-out that I didn't get to see:)

You can watch the pilot and whole series for free on Yahoo Shine. It's where Hulu branched their free shows off to.

I checked to see if H&I was going to air them out of order like they did earlier this year but it looks like they aren't since they only air one episode a day now. They aired two daily before.

Thanks for the link! I've seen episode one now, I can try to watch the rest on H&I. I've heard so much about this show but never got around to watching it.

H&I did air both episodes of the pilot episode Hill Street Station. On Wednesday the first hour was shown, and on Thursday the second hour was shown. I'm sorry that you missed the first hour. It was confusing the way H&I listed it. H&I sometimes does air the series out of order. Last Saturday they aired episodes from previous seasons, which had to do with holiday episodes. The two episodes listed for Saturday, one is from season 1 in order, and then another one from season 4.

In general, they are in order but remember they air 2 on Saturday nights usually in the same sequence as the Monday thru Friday episodes
