Good for Julie

One episode that I have especially fond memories of is from the third season and is called "Samantha's Protest". The main point of this episode is a demonstration organized by Samantha in regards to something that she believed in. However, I was especially fond of the secondary plot of Katie's giddiness over the handsome boy from the protest. She was giddy over him even before she knew that he would be part of the protest. When Nell, Katie and Julie arrive at the scene of the protest, they decide to become part of it in support of Samantha. Katie pays the boy a bunch of cute little complements in an attempt to get him to ask her out. At one point, Nell commands all of the participants to lock arms to make a chain of protesters. Standing next to the handsome boy, Katie capitalizes on the instructions by grabbing him with both of her arms. She then positions her body so that her bosoms are up against his upper body and her crotch is leaning against his leg. At this point, Julie (who has one arm wrapped around "Samantha's) uses her other arm to grab one of Katie's arms, spin her around and then say "Like this Katie"! She then looks over Samantha's head and says to Nell "That is absolutely disgusting"! This was in reference to the way that Katie's body had been positioned. In the mind of a decent girl like Julie, Katie's crotch should be facing the same way as the crotches of all of the other protesters and Katie's arms should be positioned in the same say as the arms of everyone else! Good for you Julie!
