Christmas episodes

Gimme a Break! produced three Christmas-themed episodes:

From season 3: A Kanisky Christmas

It's Joey's first Christmas with the Kanisky family. Nell fears it will be a disaster if she doesn't get the whole family together. Samantha is going to babysit for a couple, Julie is going out with a boy, and Katie is going skiing in the mountains. As Christmas night continues, the family surprises Nell, and tells her they really didn't have other things going on. They just wanted time to pick up Nell's Christmas present.

From season 4: The Spirit of Christmas

Nell decides to spend the holiday a few days early with Addy, since she is going to Alabama for Christmas. A handsome neighbor of Addy's comes over to borrow something, and when Addy and Nell find out he's available, the two invite him to stay for Christmas dinner. The ladies compete with each other to win his affection, and in the end, he decides to ask his estranged wife to take him back.

From season 6: Christmas in New York

Nell decides to buy a Christmas tree, and so does Addy. As they begin to celebrate Christmas New York style, Joey tells Matthew that there is no such thing as Santa Claus, and Nell blames Marty for the whole thing. In the end, Nell realizes that Marty always didn't believe in Santa Claus because he never got the toy train he saw in a store window when he was a child. In the end, Nell invites him to Christmas dinner, and on Christmas morning, he is surprised to see the toy train he has always wanted, which both Addy and Nell say they didn't get for him. This convinces Joey and Matthew there is a Santa Claus after all.

Happy holidays. You forgot one XMAS episode-in season 5: Snippets. They are decorating the tree and they remember a whole bunch of incidents:
1. Appearance of Joey on doorstep.
2. Addy's first appearance.
3. Addy, Nell, and her sister singing to a tape.
4. The Valentine's Day episode where Nell's advice backfired.
5. Nell throwing out the XMAS tree in The Spirit of Christmas. Funny thing: The family brought the same XMAS tree back up, not knowing Nell threw it out. Someone should've then said, "Oh, so you threw that tree out. Well, that's solved."

Thanks for the correction. I don't remember 'Snippets.' I will have to go back and watch it.

Happy holidays!
