How did the series end?

I recently watched a condensed version of this show called "Gangster Wars" in which the ending had Lucky Luciano about to go to court on prostitution charges and seeing his ex-girlfriend Chris there. At that point the show ends stating that Luciano went to prison and was later deported to Italy. Did the series end the same way? It seemed like such a rushed ending that I got the impression that there was more to the story to be told.
