I was shocked to see that Michael Filerman was listed as dead during the 2014 Emmy Awards- I hadn't heard or read that anywhere else. Besides being a producer on Knots Landing, he also produced Flamingo Road and Falcon Crest.

Falcon Crest and Flamingo Road beat Dallas and Knot's Landing, by far. I'm 44 now, but I think that my tween self had good taste. I moved on to Dynasty and Miami Vice when I actually made the Big 1 4
