Who remembers David Rose's music for this show? It was brilliant in every way - orchestral, memorable and you wanted to play air conductor to it! He and Michael Landon were a great team, and I liked how Mr. Landon clearly liked orchestral music in a way that most producers/directors don't do today. Pity.
shareYES !! Well in all fairness David Rose was always brilliant in everything he did. I considered him to be the John Williams of TV. His music felt like scores that should be in big budget films. As for what you said 12 years ago haha Yes his score for Father Murphy is particularly good and I love that, as he always did, he gave each character their own them music, I particularly was found of Mr Rodman theme. David Rose really is one of the reasons why they do not make shows like they used to, the guy elevated everything he worked on.
