Michael Ranson- too darn boring, both the character and the actor

Carly Fixx- too annoying, although she did start to grow on me before she left town

Terry Hartford- also didn't do much for me; I just didn't enjoy her character that much and was happy when she was killed off

Pretty much every new character that came on the last 2 seasons. The entire Ortega family, Ben and Nick Agretti, Michael Sharpe, Danny Sharpe, the St. James brothers. Sydney was ok and Genele was pretty good but the others were awful.

Pilar Ortega: biggest mistake the show ever made to replace Melissa with this atrociously dull character

Chase Gioberti: Self-righteous, holier-than-thou, hypocritical; can't believe I actually thought he was even a good character while the show was airing

The SECOND Vicki Gioberti: The first Vicki (played by Jamie Rose) had much more substance and was believable as Chase and Maggie's daughter. The second one was basically a fashion model.

^Yeah. Come to think of it, there were many characters I immensly dislkiked on the second viewing. Even in the Gioberti family.

Lol you people hate the only GOOD characters in the last few seasons of the show.

Michael Sharpe was great. Greg Harrison is an awesome actor. He stole the show on both Trapper John and Falcon Crest.

I do agree that Season 8 was filled with uninspired characters, in uninspired storylines. They clearly ran out of ideas somewhere around season 5 or 6 and were just re-using cookie cutter storylines from earlier seasons with slight changes. The only storyline I really like in Season 8 is the spanish kid that thinks Maggie is a cougar and tries to get with her :)

Those were total psychopaths (I guess though, not the only ones).

Carly Fixx... harmless, but annoying as hell.
