Actually it was created by Jeffrey O'Kelly. He has a site for the show at http://www.doctorsnuggles.com.

Adams was one of the original writers on the show, O'Kelly created the characters (books first, TV show later).

Adams wrote only one episode, the one with the water thieves from outer space, but he didn't write it alone.
