DVD Release

Hi,
I saw that someone was looking for the series. I finally found it!! The show's creator, Jeffrey O'Kelley sells the series through his website, http://www.doctorsnuggles.com. The site has been around for a while and the VHS release has been available for a few months, but he just finished up negotiations to the sell the DVD set here in the States. I just placed an order for one, hoping to get it real soon!

He sells the VHS series for $79 and the DVD for $99! He also sells a CD with music from the show.

I've been trying for over a year to purchase a VHS or DVD from the site. The creator has responded, but he directs me to his son, who has never responded to my requests (3 over the course of 12 monhts). Where did you place your order? After you placed your order, did you actually receive the series? I've seen that Amazon.uk.co has the DVD available, but in a formet that would not read on an American DVD player.

Thanks,
Julie

Found the DVD boxset over here in the UK - Region 0 format so it will play on any DVD player. HMV had it at half price (Ā£12.99). Just remembered the episode where they turned the shed into a boat (that artist didn't take influence from this, did he?) as I used to have it on video.
Just can't believe that "Boycie" from Only Fools did voices on it!

I ordered two copies of the DVD from the son at $99 each (one for me, one for my sister). The copies are acceptable quality, I suppose. The look they were captured from and old VHS tape and copied onto DVD. Considering O'Kelley created the series, I thought the show would look better than this. It is watchable, though.

The big problem is they don't ship with ANY kind of tracking. I received one copy, but the second copy was never received. I asked for a replacement copy to be shipped and was told one was had been, but that was never received either. Since then, I've had no further communication from the O'Kelleys. I had to copy the discs for my sister and give her that (which makes her copy about the same quality as what I received...haha).

So just to let everyone know...buyer beware...and good luck.

what? youre trippin, man, why would you wanna get this on DVD? its on tv like everyday,
one of my favorite episodes is where dr. snuggles builds an underground machine that digs him throw the ground, and he ends up in another world.
then the machine breaks, and they have to figure out how to get back.

wew ere dancing under the moonlight one summers night
the wind stood still, there was peace, and the stars were shining bright,
we had a radio playing under the pine tree, it stood next to your red shoes,
we pretended it was dance music, but we both knew it was just a low down blues,
this dance has kept on for over 20 years, right here on this hill top,
were dancing from the evening sun to the early morning light, and it never seems to stop,
the fire burns just as strong, and we'll keep on dancing for 20 more years to come,
doesn't matter if the radio is playing techno music, or a low down dirty blues song.

We loved watching this when we were kids. Too bad it's not available for me to share for the family now.
