When the army arrived (spoilers)
In the last episode when the army showed up at Bill's house, did anybody else find it odd how they acted like they had no idea about the Triffids?
shareI think it was due to the fact that Torrence and his men were living in Brighton, and were more concerned about the outbreak of disease than the triffids, as that would have been their main problem. I seem to remember him mentioning they've sealed off a part of the city to keep the disease out.
shareAlso the triffids would flock to the rural areas where there was plenty of soil as Bill had said early on. Remember the man in charge of the big convoy that was going to leave the city had laughed at Bill when he was adamant on bringing triffid control equipment? He said, do you see any triffids here?
