bought the dvd cheap better than I recall

I posted here a couple of years ago having seen the first couple of episodes on cable tv.
I had not enjoyed the first couple of episodes much and missed the rest,I had enjoyed it back in 1981 but had not seen it all until today.

It is actually pretty good,the first couple of episodes are the least impressive part of it.

Given the budget and organisational issues they do a decent job of conveying the chaos,but is it true that this influenced 28 days later?

John Duttine and Maurice Colbourne give good performances.
The plot is good and not unrealisitc (if you can say that about a Sci Fi series).

I always think that the state would survive a bit better than shown in these sort of stories but I still enjoyed the viewing.
