Three episodes..

I think they were all from the Darkroom. The first one I know is.

1. The Army man episode

2. A girl thinks her neighbor down the street is a vampire. She goes to great lengths to prove it. She breaks into his house and he catches her in the middle of the night and she accuses him of being a vampire. He produces a mirror and shows her his reflection and says "see I'm not a vampire" and then proceeds to turn into a Werewolf and devour her! Really good episode. Creepy as hell!

3. Claude Akins and his wife live on a farm. A beggar comes by and asks for food. They promptly give him a bed and feed him to his hearts content. Turns out they are getting money from the government to care for an elderly uncle. Unfortunately the uncle just died a few days ago. They ask the beggar to pretend he is the uncle and they will feed him and take care of him so they can continue to collect the money. He agrees and all goes well until they get a letter from the government saying they are sending someone out to check on the health of the uncle. The beggar says no problem he can pretend to be the uncle. The husband looks at the wife and then at the beggar and says "Uncle Ned had had his legs amputated below the knees" The last scene is the husband firing up a chainsaw and walking towards the beggar!

Anyway those are the three I remember. Anyone remember them or others. Please share!

That.....was......AWESOME! That was soooo cool seeing that after so many years. And Helen Hunt, I had no idea that was her! Absolutely please post more! You said you have the whole series? How many episodes are there?

reply

Hey Apolyon, thanks for the reply. I do have the whole series which includes 7 episodes. Each episode (50 minutes) includes up to 3 stories with a total of 16 stories in all. Episode 3 titled The Bogeyman Will Get You starting Helen Hunt was my favorite episode from the series. I would be happy to upload more from this great show, did you check out the other shows I posted on my Veoh account? I will be posting episodes from about 11 different TV shows. I also split each episode into their seperate stories so that I have 16 episodes in all.

P.S The other 2 episodes you list was Episode 4: Uncle George and Episode 6: Siege of 31 August both are great episodes. I will post them first for you.

Enjoy

I remember the werewolf episode. That episode and the one with the cat are the only ones that stuck in my mind. I remember the cat one scared me as a kid when the woman's face appeared on the cat.

I was pleasantly surprised to find two full episodes I remembered on Youtube.

The first episode I recall starred Billy Crystal using an enchanted makeup case that takes him from misfortunate loser to fortunate winner. This episode was alright after watching it for the first time in almost 30 years.

The second one I remembered was a Michael Constantine episode as an executioner during the French reign of Terror. It was just as good as I remembered it all these years later since seeing it on the original televison broadcast. I was wrong about the location though as originally I had thought the episode took place at the Tower of London, not France.

The Constantine episode is a solid remake of an episode of the 60's series, Thriller, hosted by Boris Karloff. Both episodes are first rate, Constantine is a very underrated actor, and if you've never seen the original, you should try to seek it out.

Thanks RipCity, will do...the writing was top-notch, such a tragedy that it didn't go to syndication.
